We make all sorts of beautiful, ridiculous things. This season we are making needle felted animal necklaces, tiny needle books, handbags made from recycled clothing, altered train cases, altered journals, plushies made from sweaters, eclectic jewelry made from scavenged bits, coin purses, large collage art, art blocks, upcycled jewelry boxes, upcycled T-shirt hats, and dragons. Interview with Soundwaves From The Underground
SLUG Magazine has a podcasts series called Soundwaves From The Underground that is exceptional--not just because they recently interviewed Molly, Duane and Noelle form the BeehiveBazaar, but because they cast a spotlight on so many interesting people at the edge of art, music and thought.

SLUG Says...
Our pals at SLUG are always generous with their coverage of the BB--thanks!
If there was a homemade or crafting mecca, I think it would have to be in Utah County. Those ladies have been perfecting the art of DIY for generations. It’s bred into them from their pioneer roots—canning, scrapbooking, quilting and knitting. The Beehive Bazaar takes the best of the crafting traditions, like handmade Christmas stockings and homemade jams, and throws in trendy jewelry, repurposed clothing and the latest in one-of-a-kind kids’ clothes. My girl friends and I make a pilgrimage each year to the land of plenty (children and crafts that is). My $18 bee necklace has been the envy of many people over the years and a staple in my wardrobe. Now located at the Bell Room on the the corner of University and Center Street in Provo, The Bazaar takes place Thurs., Dec. 8, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m., Fri., Dec. 9, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m and Sat., Dec. 10, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. For more details, friend them on Facebook."

Holiday 2011 Young Crafters...
Once again, our Young Crafters have lots to share.Check them out...
Kinsley Lewis, Jade and Sage Redden
- We are three sisters that love to be creative. We would like to make headbands, pom pom hair elastics, flower hair clips, and cards with our art on them that can be colored. We may even come up with fun coloring books of our artwork. Kinsley is 11, Jade is 9, and Sage is 7.

I have been doing art ever since I could hold a pencil. Most of what I do is people-- girls really. My art has sort of a twisted Alice-In-Wonderland feel to it. I do cartoons for bedrooms, little old ladies, and gothic. . . . anything really. I do a pretty broad range, so if you need me to do something for you, chances are I'd be delighted. I am twelve years old and live in PG, UT.
Eli, 11, Isabel, 8, and Asher, 6, are entrepreneurs at heart, and among the most crafty kids I know. They craft constantly, and carefully chose their crafts for this event.
Other Young Crafters include...
Lily & Grace Higginbotham
Lola, Maude & Ruby Call
Tiare Cutri
Ali Payton
Isabell & Millie Yarro
Quinn, Fischer, Maia & Crew Olpin
Emma & Tate Grames

I love to use new, vintage, repurposed, and upcycled fabrics and materials. I love to mix color and patterns in unexpected ways, I think it makes my products fun and unique. A lot of my things are one of a kind. I make everything myself using a vintage sewing machine that has a permanent spot in my living room. I get inspiration from my three girls, nature, vintage finds, really just about everywhere. Currently I make a wide variety of things from bags, to girl's dresses, hair accessories, dish towels, baby gifts, and altered vintage suitcases just to name a few. Visit me here...
