"PEC is a handmade company featuring unique dolls. Each "Penelope's Friend" is made from remnants of dressmaking, keeping them out of landfills and into loving homes. There are three sizes, Babies are about 8 1/2 inches tall and have a rattle inside. Mini's are baby safe (No buttons, bows securely sewn on) and at 15 inches they are perfect for your infant and toddler to snuggle. Kaelee Jensen - My Dear Hazel

We make Dolls, stuffed animals, and pillows. Whimsical Mermaids, Tattooed Mermen, and colorful Narwhals from The Sea. Our Manly Lumberjacks and Burly Vikings each come with fantastic tiny hardwood axes. And of course we make them both in a girl version as well, because girls can be badasses too. We make sweet baby-dolls with floral linens and beautiful heirloom style lace. We are always coming up with creative new designs and ideas, and we love taking custom orders.

Gentry Blackburn | Frosty Darling

Gentry is an painter, crafter and owner of the Frosty Darling Boutique in downtown Salt Lake City. Her colorful and kitschy wares include bottle cap earrings, felt brooches, plush squirrels and vintage fabric aprons. Her focus this year has been a series of small paintings of 70's and 80's television shows and a collection of accessories and housewares celebrating her favorite state, Utah!

This year I am making lots of framed paintings of fish and birds. I also have made a series of wooden bird puzzles (which I don't have a photo of at the moment). I will have some letterpress items with my art on them as well, and hopefully some little felted animals.

This winter I've readied some new creations of widely varying degrees of practicality and palaver: from rabbits and birds and things of this earth to ghosties and monsters and creatures undiscovered. I've also been reclaiming yarns of sweaters and afghans from days gone by and revitalizing those forgotten fibers into deliciously fat, cozy scarf-wares.

Ashley MacKay & Camille Anderson | Boots To The Moon

Ashley: I create because I like things that don't exist. I reuse things that have meaning to me, like skirts out of my Grandpa's old work shirts. I print cards because I like working with my hands, and who hasn't needed a Get Well Soon Broken Heart card?

Camille: I make things out of fabric: quilts, quiet books, and clock pillows for children. For adults: fabric box sets, Children Kids plushies, and Christmas collection including stockings, ornaments, wreathes, and Tiger Fire Christmas Album (in this case I made something out of music). I do it because I like creation.
